During writer's workshop, you are required to do 4 class projects throughout the year (one each 9 weeks). In addition, you are required to turn in a minimum of 4 other projects during each quarter. You will be working at your own pace, and may use all of the resources available here.

Required Projects
1st Quarter-"The Climb"- In this project, students will watch a video of "The Climb" by Myley Cyrus. Using the class blog, the will reflect on their own mountains/challenges. Students will create a visual representation of their mountain and/or how they will overcome that mountain. The visual representation may be drawn, painted, a collage, powerpoint, video, or use another method. The project should reflect the student and his/her personality.
